Mr. Arun Seth, an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta with over 45 years of senior commercial experience across BT, Alcatel, and HCL, notably served as the founding MD of British Telecom in India, building it into a market leader in managed telecom services and outsourced IT/back-office operations. He played a pivotal role in the early incubation of both Airtel and Mahindra BT, now global entities, and actively shaped Telecoms and IT policy as an elected member of Nasscom for over a decade. 

Currently, he is an independent director on the boards of several companies, and previously served on the Narayana Health board for eight years. As an active investor advisor to disruptive tech companies, he incubated India’s first unicorn, InMobi, in 2007, and also helped create Glance, another unicorn, while assisting numerous other disruptive tech companies like Nutanix to scale in the Indian market and achieve global success. Demonstrating a strong commitment to social causes and education, Mr. Seth is a co-founder of The Nudge Institute, a leading livelihoods NGO, an advisor to Give India, a Governing Member of HelpAge India Board and SPIC-MACAY, and a member of NCPEDP. He also chaired Nasscom Foundation until 2019, driving CSR initiatives across the IT industry.

An active investor and advisor, Mr. Seth supports disruptive tech companies in scaling up in the Indian market, with notable successes like Nutanix. He is deeply committed to social causes, co-founding The Nudge Institute, advising Give India, and serving on the boards of HelpAge India, SPIC-MACAY, and NCPEDP. Additionally, he chaired the Nasscom Foundation until 2019, promoting CSR initiatives through tech-enabled solutions.
